COMMUNITY SERVICE
Geared towards promoting volunteerism and giving back to local and global communities. The participants will be Involved in the following activities: Service Learning, Civic Awareness, Volunteer Activities, Community projects and the Annual Community Day.
LIFE SKILLS
Introduction to fundamentals that will assist in basic life skills and provide a solid foundation to build one’s self-confidence and esteem. These will include: Personal Image and Branding, Social Etiquette, Mentor Programs, Peer Mentoring Programs, Parental Initiatives, Financial Literacy and Drug and Alcohol Awareness
LEADERSHIP
Concentration on tools that will develop the ability to manage and accomplish objectives in both the personal and professional arenas. This will include: Critical Thinking, Positive Masculinity Training, Time/Task Management, Interpersonal skills, Public Speaking, Group Facilitation, and Leadership Conferences (i.e., K.I.N.G. Program)
CAREER
Focused on the development of individuals exploring career pathways and learning employability/soft skills and the variety of career options. We will also provide opportunities for college fairs, college tours and college visits. The organization will also provide alternative options for non-traditional career pathways and provide the following: Job Shadowing, Internships, Career Coaches, Career Workshops, Full and Part-time employment opportunities and Entrepreneurship workshops and trainings.
PERSONAL
DEVELOPMENT
Promotes the cultivation of personal interests that focuses on mental and physical health to create a positive outlet to focus one’s energy as well as an introduction to a diversity of interests. Participation may occur in the following: Introduction to Fine Arts, Athletic Training Programs (NIL), Dance and Mass Communication/Media, Think Tanks, Round Table Discussions and Dress for Success.
